What we found when we searched for Serta
Our first check, on October 29, found no new Perfect Sleeper listing from Serta or Amazon, the Serta most people picture. A second search on October 30 turned up more than fifteen, all sold and shipped by Amazon.com, across four ranges: the Enhanced and Ultimate hybrids, the newer Perfect Sleeper X, and the Port series. We added the three that make the most sense for a sore back, next to the iComfort and iSeries beds we already covered.
Buying from Amazon.com matters here. Amazon handles the return on top of Serta's own terms, and you are not relying on a reseller's promises. The newer Perfect Sleeper listings, like the iComfort and iSeries ones, state a 100-night trial and a 10-year limited warranty; the older Enhanced and Ultimate pages leave those terms out, so our cards mark them as not stated. Several Perfect Sleepers ship full-size rather than rolled: no expansion wait, but a heavy delivery.

Serta and back pain: which model, which back
Serta's firm iComfort Elana is the one we would point most back-pain shoppers toward, with one condition: you sleep on your back or stomach. It is foam, so it is quiet and isolates motion, and Serta says to allow up to 60 days for it to settle. That is a long break-in, but it is also an honest one; several other makers say nothing about it.
The NXG 3500 is the safer pick for side sleepers who also spend time on their back. Serta's five-zone coil description is about the closest thing in their Amazon range to the zoned support that our lower back pain page favors.
The NXG 2500 Plush is lovely for the right person and wrong for most back-pain shoppers. Plush lets the hips sink if you sleep on your back.
Which Perfect Sleeper, then?
Serta sells the Perfect Sleeper in more feels than any shopper needs, from plush pillow tops to extra firm. For back pain, three rules cut the list down. Skip the plush versions unless you are a light side sleeper; they let the hips drop. Prefer a listing that mentions zoned coils or a lumbar band, because that is the part aimed at the lower back. And check the height: several Perfect Sleepers run 14 to 15 inches, which needs deep-pocket sheets and makes a tall bed harder to climb into, something our seniors' page covers.
The Ultimate Firm Pillow Top is where we would start for back sleepers. The Enhanced in medium suits people who spend half the night on their side. The Perfect Sleeper X Knox costs more, but it is the only one of the three with trial and warranty written on its own page, and its firm feel is the one Serta pitches at stomach and back sleepers.

People search for these two together because they used to be sister brands on the same showroom floors.
